attendees will learn pertinent information on the inflation reduction act and how solar pv systems can qualify for various tax credits within the program. this can help property managers identify the most economically viable properties within their portfolio for solar. these tips will also be helpful for smoothly integrating future projects, as more and more municipalities are encouraging or requiring renewable energy.

having grown up near the smoky mountains of east tennessee and seeing the dangers of mountain-top removal first-hand, rachel mountain took an immediate interest in finding a solution through renewable energy. she obtained a ba in environmental studies from the university of tennessee – knoxville and has worked in the renewable energy industry for eight years. rachel joined namaste solar five years ago and is currently a co-owner of the company, focusing on behind-the-meter, commercial and industrial solar development across colorado’s front range.
rachel also serves on the namasté solar foundation board of directors as treasurer, where her impact in solar is amplified by directing grant funds to non-profits for the completion of renewable energy projects. the foundation has supported over 40 projects across seven countries and three continents.
