in this course, irem instructor jeff lapin, cpm®, will explain the rationale for property owners to charge tenants for their share of operating expenses. he will also describe in a logical, step-by-step way the process of reconciling tenants’ shares of cam expenses, from segregating operating expenses into cam and non-cam categories to determining and billing each tenant’s share of such expenses. jeff will also cover tips, tricks and best practices that make this process understandable and non-intimidating, even for property managers new to the process.
