    as an asset manager for the virginia housing development authority, megan oversees a portfolio of 143 multifamily, affordable housing loans. in this role, she analyses property financials and the physical condition of properties to assess the riskiness of each loan to the authority. a graduate of the property management program at virginia tech, megan is currently working on her master’s in business administration with a concentration in real estate at the virginia commonwealth university. megan’s first exposure to irem was when she was a student. she received scholarships to lobby on capitol hill and to attend the 2013 fall leadership conference. she enjoyed her experiences so much that she has remained active in her local chapter since graduation serving in a number of roles. she currently serves as the vice president of public relations for the central virginia chapter of irem.
