kandace massenburg, cpm® candidate assistant property manager transwestern alexandria, virginia
kandace is a committed real estate professional who leaves a pinch of style, grace, class, and beauty in every room she graces. everyday she desires to go above and beyond for her client(s), tenants, and employer. in january of 2021, kandace joined transwestern as an assistant property manager. at transwestern she helps to oversee the financial operations of metro park in alexandria, virginia. prior to joining transwestern, kandace assisted with in management of 2 sister buildings located in southwest washington, dc consisting of 1 million square feet and all gsa tenants. in this role she was responsible for aspects of managing the assets. kandace began her property management career 6 years ago and has completely fallen in love with the industry. kandace earned a bachelor of arts in communication with a concentration in interpersonal and organizational communication from george mason university in 2014 and hopes to one day return to georgetown university to finish her master of professional studies in real estate. additionally, kandace is in the final stages of earning her cpm designation. kandace has been an active member of irem’s norther virginia chapter for 4 years and serves as chair of the diversity committee. in 2020, she was recognized as a diversity and inclusion success initiative scholar. long term, kandace aspires to be an asset manager, a mentor, and resource to anyone looking to further their career in real estate. when she isn’t working, she enjoys baking, brunch, books, traveling, and weightlifting.
