2021 fly-in
irem is conducting our 3rd annual capitol hill fly-in on march 9 & 10, 2021. the fly-in offers irem members an opportunity to meet with their federal legislators and advocate for issues critical to the real estate management industry.
we understand many irem members are eager to do their part to represent the real estate management industry, but for a variety of reasons may be unable to travel to washington, dc. to help ensure everyone who wants to participate is able, we are excited to announce the 2021 fly-in will be conducted both as an in-person and virtual meeting.
please feel free to share with your irem colleagues so they can join this exciting and dynamic event!

engage with your legislators
with the 2020 election in full swing, now is the perfect time to engage with your elected officials. during this time of uncertainty, now more than ever, our voice needs to be heard so legislators understand all of the challenges facing the real estate management industry. there are several different ways you can engage with your legislators. some are still open to face-to-face meetings while others will only meet by zoom.
if you are unable to schedule a meeting or do not have the time, emailing legislators to voice your comments and concerns is still an option. no matter how you engage with your officials, it is important that federal, state, and local legislators hear from you as state and local economies begin to reopen for business. if you would like staff to help you schedule or attend your meeting, please email us at iremlegislation@irem.org
check out the recording of “conducting successful meetings with your elected officials” for more information about how to connect with legislators.
