irem hosting congressional briefing on july 21

we will be hosting our third congressional briefing titled “the impact of federal legislation on real estate” for members of congress and their staff on wednesday, july 21 at 11:00am central time.

federal housing advisory board chair, shannon longino, cpm®; vice-chair susan monaghan, cpm®; and daniel wagner, svp government relations with the inland real estate group will discuss affordable housing and retaining the 1031 like-kind exchange.

cdc eviction moratorium extended to july 31st - deadline is intended to be the final extension

the expiration date of the cdc eviction moratorium has been moved back from june 30 to july 31, 2021, following an order from cdc director dr. rochelle walensky. this new deadline is intended to be the final extension of the moratorium.
