irem attends nar c5 summit

irem attended the nar c5 summit, which was held august 15 – 17 in new york city. c5 summit is a commercial real estate event where attendees connect with other leaders, stakeholders, and potential partners; engage in productive commerce and source capital; and create partnerships.

irem 2022 director, brad ashley, cpm® presented at the summit on making the deal, where attendees learned how to get more new deals done and keep existing tenants in place by working with your building management. irem president barry blanton also moderated a panel on making the financial case for sustainability. during this session, attendees learned how making financial investments in sustainability not only improves the environment, but also makes financial sense.

irem’s bill tracking

h.r.8294 - transportation, housing and urban development, and related agencies appropriations act, 2023 passed the house on july 20, 2022, with 220 yeas and 207 nays. this bill provides fy2023 appropriations of $1,275,060,641 for community project funding which includes housing and urban development. to learn more about this bill, visit our legislative tracking system.
