ryan huffman, cpm®, serves on the irem (日本vs西班牙水位分析) board of directors. huffman is currently the director, property management for hunt midwest. in this capacity, he is responsible for the property management execution for the hunt industrial holdings in the kansas city area with primary responsibility for the 8 million square foot hunt midwest subtropolis underground facility that is currently home to 55 companies and more than 3,000 employees.
in his prior role, huffman was senior vice president and coo for the cohen-esrey family of companies, and was the firm’s managing director of acquisitions through the firm’s multi-family investing arm. he has overseen the acquisition of over $500 million of multi-family property in a multi-state area and is responsible for the delivery of cohen-esrey’s overall operating platforms and intercompany infrastructure support functions.
huffman served as a board member for irem kansas city chapter since 2011, and was the president of the board in 2018. he received the cpm of the year award in 2014 and 2018 for irem kansas city, serves as a governing councilor for irem, and served as a member of the irem federal housing advisory board for 5 years including vice chair in 2018, and chair in 2019. he has also served as chairman of the board of preservingus, inc., a 501(c)3 corporation since 2009.
a cum laude graduate of the university of missouri in columbia, huffman earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance and banking. he also holds his real estate license in both missouri and kansas, is a certified occupancy specialist (cos) through the national council for housing management (nhcm), and holds cpm (certified property manager) certification from irem.
